College of Western Idaho President Bert Glandon's
Mid-Year Address

Glandon talked about CWI’s rapid growth and its continued evolution as a comprehensive community college

College of Western Idaho President Bert Glandon gave the spring Mid-Year College Address to members of CWI’s faculty, staff, students and the public.

Glandon began his tenure at CWI last summer and has overseen the college’s rapid student growth and expansion across the Treasure Valley. Glandon gave an update on the successes of the past semester while looking forward to the opportunities of 2010, including efforts to meet surging demand and plans to increase CWI’s accessibility to better serve its students as a 21st century educational resource.

CWI is the fastest-growing higher education institution in the state and recently added dozens of faculty and staff to support students in a variety of educational disciplines, from general studies to manufacturing to theatre. The address focused on the welcoming of new and returning faculty with a strong emphasis on maintaining superior service to its students and the community.
