Steps to Apply
- Complete CWI Application online »
- Pay $25 application fee online (by phone: 208-562-3000, by mail or in person at any One Stop Student Services location)
- Request official transcripts (High School, College or GED) be sent to: One Stop Student Services, P.O. Box 3010, Nampa, ID 83653
- CWI will also accept faxed high school transcripts as official if:
- The faxed transcript is complete with a school cover letter and/or printed on letterhead directly from the high school
- Clearly marked as "official" on the transcript
- Has an official school signature/stamp on the transcript

You will receive an acceptance letter from CWI once you have completed all of the “Steps to Apply”. Please allow at least 48 hours for processing. If you have not received your letter and have completed the apply steps, please contact One Stop Student Services »

- Provide ACT or Compass scores »
- Please review the catalog and class schedules prior to registration, this will help you choose the location, days and times of classes that work best for you.
- Attend a new student advising & registration session, plan on 1.5 hours for the session, no appointment necessary.
- At your session, you will receive both an orientation to online registration and an opportunity to register for classes.
For the most up-to-date version of classes offered, visit MyCSI as a Guest. Click on "Course Search". To view a full list of CWI courses, always select the College of Western Idaho campus in the search criteria.
MyCSI is an online portal hosted by our accreditation partner, the College of Southern Idaho.
When you reach the point in your college or career planning that you’re “ready,” the College of Western Idaho’s One Stop Student Services staff is all about “doing!” We are available at each campus location to work you through the application steps (both admission & financial aid), arrange for placement testing, develop your first semester’s course schedule and registration, and assist you with completing financial arrangements.
Our approach is different here at CWI! We understand that whether this is your first-time or hundredth time to explore your educational opportunities – it is a life changing experience. Your experience with us should reinforce the positive decisions that you’ve made. We know that there may be hurdles to overcome, but we are committed to making your educational dream – your reality.
