General Scholarships

Brandt Foundation Bridge Transition Scholarship
Established by a grant from the John H. & Orah I. Brandt Foundation, this scholarship is for GED recipients participating in CWI's Adult Basic Education (ABE) program who plan to enroll in a degree program at CWI. This scholarship covers the cost of the application fee (if not previously paid), tuition and books for one three (3) or four (4) credit class. Interested applicants should contact the Adult Basic Education department.

Idaho National Laboratory STEM Grant
Established by funding received from the Idaho National Laboratory, this need-based grant targets under-represented minority or gender populations enrolled in STEM-related (science, technology, engineering, math) academic and professional technical education programs. Interested students should apply using the CWI online application process.

Idaho Power Minority Enrichment Grant
Established by funding received from Idaho Power, this need-based grant can be awarded to students enrolled in any CWI degree or certificate program. There is a preference given to minority students. Interested students should apply using the CWI online application process.

J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation Go On Scholarship
Established by a grant from the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation, this scholarship is intended to boost post-secondary success for Idaho Students and increase higher education enrollment and degree completion. This scholarship focuses on recent high school graduates that are the first in their family to attend college, students who are re-entering college in pursuit of a degree, students who are one year or more out of high school and attending college for the first time, and a merit base award for high school seniors who have successfully completed four math and four science courses in high school. Interested students should apply using the CWI online application process.

Laura Moore Cunningham Scholarship
Established by funding received from the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation, this scholarship is made available to Idaho residents possessing a strong academic background. Preference is given to recent high school graduates and first-generation college students. Interested students should apply using the CWI online application process.

Wells Fargo Foundation Scholarship
Established by funding received from the Wells Fargo Foundation, this scholarship can be awarded to students enrolled in any CWI degree or certificate program. There is a preference given to students demonstrating financial need. Interested students should apply using the CWI online application process.
