Login Instructions for MyCSI - New Students

Who are new CWI students? New CWI students are students who have already been admitted to CWI and received a CWI student ID number but have NOT yet registered for a credit course at CWI. 

• New CWI students will only have access to MyCSI (so they can access features that are not available to Guest users such as registering online for a course).   
• Your MyCSI username will be your CWI student ID number that you received in your admissions letter.
• Your MyCSI password will be your PIN number.
  • You need to retrieve your PIN number online before you can log in to use MyCSI.
  • In order to retrieve your PIN, go to the Retrieve PIN page, submit the information required and click the Retrieve PIN button. 
    • Once you retrieved your PIN you should either print the page or write down the PIN so you can log into MyCSI later (don’t forget to shred the paper with your PIN after you changed your PIN).
    • Important: We strongly encourage you to change your PIN as soon as possible to a secret password that you only know and can remember but others cannot guess (generally a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers).  Keep your password secret. Treat your password with as much care as the information it protects. Never share your password with others or write it down and store it in places where others can access it.
      • How do you change your PIN?  After you log into MyCSI you need to click on Personal Information,(link on the top to the right of your name), then click the PIN tab and type in your old PIN, the new PIN (secret password) and confirm, click the Save button. 
      • You can change your PIN anytime.
      • If you forget your PIN, you can re-retrieve it at any time through the Retrieve PIN page.
• For security and privacy reasons it is very important that you always log out after using any of our systems.
