HigherOne Refunds

The College of Western Idaho and our accreditation partner, the College of Southern Idaho, partner with HigherOne, to provide you with several options for receiving your financial aid/scholarship refunds. All students who are eligible for financial aid refunds will receive a CSI EagleOne Card.

Watch for your EagleOne debit card in the mail!

EagleOne Cards are mailed just prior to the start of each semeseter to new students only. Continuing students will use the EagleOne Card received when they first enrolled at CWI.

When you receive your EagleOne Card, DO NOT throw it away! A replacement card can cost you up to $20 and your EagleOne Card is intended to be used to manage your financial aid refunds throughout your entire enrollment at CWI.

IMPORTANT: In preparation to receive your card please:

  • Verify your current mailing address in the MyCSI system.Click here for step-by step instructions.
  • If you have recently moved, please ensure that you have an active forwarding address request with the U.S. Postal Service.
  • Please visit CSIEagleOneCard.com to learn about the card and how to select your refund option.

As soon as you receive your card, please log in to CSIEagleOneCard.com and select one of three refund options:

  • You can choose to have your refund loaded to your CSI EagleOne Card and use the card anywhere MasterCard is accepted.
  • You can also choose to have your refund auto-deposited into your checking account. If you choose this option, you will provide your bank routing number and checking account number in the secure online portal.
  • If you prefer (or if you do not choose one of the first two options*), your refund will be mailed to you by paper check. If you don’t select any of the three options, this option is the default.

*If you do not log in and make a selection, HigherOne will hold your refund for 21 days from the date your refund was issued and mail a paper check by default.

If you have questions after carefully reading the information on the CSIEagleOneCard.com site, please contact One Stop Student Services.

Please remember disbursement dates (the date your financial aid is released to your student account) have not changed. The disbursement date is scheduled for the 10th day of instruction each semester (the 5th day of instruction in the Summer semester). Once your account is credited on the census date, refund procedures will commence the following business day and your refund will be available to you shortly thereafter depending on the refund option you’ve selected.

DON'T FORGET: If you have a financial aid credit balance, you will be able to charge your books to your student account before the semester starts.
