College of Western Idaho

The College of Western Idaho is governed by a volunteer five-member board of trustees who are elected at large from within Ada and Canyon Counties for staggered, four-year terms. Trustees derive their authority from and hold office in accordance to the state of Idaho Code.

Retired teacher (Government, Economics) and school administrator, served as Nampa School District's Professional Technical Coordinator. Eagle City Council 1991 through 2007, President one year. Idaho House of Representatives(2004), Environment, Energy & Technology Committee, Judiciary and Rules Committee. Idaho Senate (2006), Senate Education Committee, Joint Appropriation and Finance Committee.

Past community service roles include: Board Member of the Concerned Parents Committee, Chairman of the Family Unity Week Committee, President of Toastmasters, Scout & Cub Master, and elected representative to the Emerald People's Utility District Board of Directors.

Board Minutes

The CWI Board of Trustees in its commitment to openness and transparency post Board minutes once approved. The standard practice of public entities is to approve minutes of their previous meeting at the beginning of the next meeting. Given that the Board meets monthly, minutes will be posted approximately 30 days after each meeting.
